Her boldest journey in climbing was finally living as her true self. Jamie Logan and Mugs Stump’s 1978 first ascent of the daunting Emperor Face of Mount Robson (VI 5.9 A2 2500m) is widely regarded as one of the greatest ascents in alpine climbing. At one point, Jamie spent hours on lead, questing into the unknown, scraping up a fearsome runout corner with rudimentary ice-climbing gear, and freeing one of the hardest pitches ever led in the mountains at that time. Decades later, at age 69, Jamie faced an even greater unknown: What would it mean to her wife, children, friends, community—and, most importantly, herself—if she finally broke free from the secret she’d been carrying her whole life, and started living as herself? “Jamie” is a new short film with a powerful message that life can be richer when you let love and trust guide you. “Jamie” Duration: 18 minutes Featuring: Jamie Logan and Sherry Wiggins Director: Darcy Hennessey Turenne Producer: Sarah Lee Steele Production Company: Well Travelled Collective DP: Rose Bush B-unit Cinematographer + Photography: Tara Kerzhner

A boy discovers a glitch which enables him to exchange cotton balls for cookies. Written, Directed, Filmed and Edited by Evan Forrest Mann (www.evanforrest.com) "I wanted to make a film that was simple to create, while also involving my family in the process. It took 15 days over the course of a couple months to film. Most days I worked alone at my in-laws house, dragging cotton balls around with fishing line, dawning sloth costumes and tearing through bags of OREOS. I filmed chronologically, allowing the process to inform the narrative, which was something I could never have planned in advance. It was the space between filming days that were the most important, because I had time to reflect on the next turn of the story. The sloth costumes were remnants of a previous commercial project, which I had always wanted to repurpose. Existing mostly in the commercial space as a writer and director, making this was a very freeing process, for rarely do we get in the car and just drive for the sake of driving. The creative on a production is usually nailed weeks in advance, with many units working together, always narrowing and honing the creative. But not this project. It was pure freedom, ever expanding and presenting twists beyond earthly vision.. It felt like surfing, but with OREOS. And some deeper themes emerged, unveiling themselves in layers. I am still sifting through the layers of meaning. A very lean and talented team helped bring everything together in post-production. The score and sound design become indistinguishable, both working almost as one; so I must give mention to Forrest Lotterhos and Khris Clymer for working ego-lessly together to make that happen.” Produced by Otherworldly Productions Music by Khris Clymer Sound Design by Forrest Lotterhos Color Grade by Jonnie Sirotek Compositing by Corduroy Audio mix by Jason McDaniel / Electric Audio, Inc.
